Sign a contract? No!

At Trashco, we work on a handshake agreement, we don't require a signed contract. Other haulers may require a binding contract. Before you sign, you should know most contracts:

  • Don't lock in your rate, it can change any time
  • Will automatically renew ... forever
  • Require first right of refusal even when you want to cancel, and/or charge a penalty if you want to change haulers
  • Charge additional fees such as fuel surcharges, administration fees, environmental fees
